On October 27, 1986 Talk show host Phil Donahue had an episode on the New York Hardcore scene. The topic centered around an article by Peter Blauner in the May 26th, 1987 issue of New York Magazine titled "Hardcore Kids" which centered on the story of Natalie Jacobson and Murphy's Law singer Jimmy Gestapo. The crowd on the talk show audience was a veritable who's who of the NYHC scene at the time featuring members of Warzone, Youth Of Today, Murphy's Law, Crumbsucker, Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, Agnostic Front, Token Entry and the Cro-Mags.
